We have been going to a few baseball gameslately - always a fun outing. We invited Lynn
& Matt one night and had a great time catching
up with them. Lynn & I met back in '04 when
I first moved to Austin. We met at my first
temp job, and we have remained good friends.
The A&M vs. UT baseball games are coming
up soon - we will be wearing our appropriate
school colors for that event for sure! :)
Some people have asked what the nursery is going to look like. They can't imagine
how we're going to decorate, not knowing
the sex of the baby! ha! Well, we haven't
done much yet, but we're going to use
primary colors and have kind of a rustic/
antique toy theme. Hopefully it will turn
out ok...we'll post more pictures later.
I went to the Austin Citywide Garage Sale
with Meredith a couple of weekends ago,
and I got this old rocking chair & blocks.
I LOVE HEB!! I really missed it while living mile away from our new home - YIPEE! It's
so clean, and they have many of the products
I would otherwise have to get at Whole Foods
or Central Market. Ahhh...I am so in love with
my new grocery store. ha! So, I bought some
of the HEB reusable bags (at $.99 a piece), and
I feel good that I'm helping the environment,
even if it's in a very small way. The bags are
actually sturdy and hold a lot! You must
think my life is completely boring b/c I get
so excited about these small things. :)
