Brock Turned 1 Month Old!

Look at this cutie! Brock turned 1 month old

on the 26th! We were praying that his doctor's

appointment would go well and that he was

gaining enough weight. The doctor said

Brock looks great and is 9 pounds. He gained

over 2 pounds in 2 weeks! YEA!

Martha (Brock's grandmother) & Brock

celebrated birthdays together on the 26th!

We picked up dinner and celebrated at

their house on Lake Austin.

My mom came to stay with us again - she

can't get enough of her grandson! She

was very helpful and even watched Brock

one night, so Greg & I could have a date

night. It was nice to get out, but we ended

up talking about our little boy the whole

time. Oh, how our lives have changed...

He is finally getting some

chub on those cheeks!

A couple of months ago, a friend took some
maternity pictures because she was wanting
to practice and build her portfolio. Well, she
came back when Brock was 2 weeks old and
got some good shots. We had a fun time
"oohing and ahhing" over our little pumpkin.

that matches his bedding.

The days are going by so quickly, and he's

growing fast. I can't believe my baby boy has

already been around for a month. We are

quickly discovering that being a parent is the

hardest job, but we're so thankful for the

opportunity to be Brock's mommy and daddy.

Greg said the other day - "you Brock my world".

I thought that was cute. :)
