Merry Christmas To All!

We hope you enjoy this time to celebrate our Savior's birth - how exciting! I love to snuggle with Brock while reading his Christmas books together - I feel it's such an honor to have the responsibility of telling him about Jesus and how much He loves him. Happy Birthday, Jesus!!Here are a few pictures of a not-so-successful trip to our mall. As you can see, Brock wasn't a big fan of the big guy...
Well, I was so excited to take Brock to Barton Creek Mall to see Santa & ride the train. But as you can see, Brock wasn't so thrilled about it, and I decided that 16 months old is not a good age to sit on an old guy's lap with a huge white beard while mom stands off to the side trying to get him to smile. Because I felt so bad for him, I probably won't even try next year. But, of course I couldn't resist spending the money for this classic picture of Brock with Santa. I figure he will think it's funny when he's older, and I'm sure his future girlfriends will appreciate it. Yes, I said girlfriends because he's just too cute - of course the girls will be crazy about him! :)
So, here goes the train ride. I thought Brock would love it, but then little Lacy started to cry. That made Brock nervous, so he started to get upset. Here it goes...choo choo!

It went around 4 times, and this is what I saw each time it came around.
At the end of the ride, they were just wanting to get out as quickly as possible - save me mommy!!! Next time, we'll go with an older kid who is really excited about it. I think that will change his whole view on it.
