visit us (and Austin, of course). Rick & Greg
worked together at Thompson & Knight. Soon
after they arrived on Friday, we drove to the
Salt Lick, which is just about 15 minutes away
from our house. We had a great weekend and
enjoyed celebrating the 4th of July with them!
that day, we went over to the Palmer's for
hamburgers and watched the fireworks
from their back porch on the lake. So nice!
at a couple of wineries on the way. We have
two favorites - this picture was taken at
one of them, Becker Vineyards.
in the wine tastings, I still enjoyed
We stopped off for some peaches on our
way back to Austin. Fredericksburg
peaches are the best - yummy!!
about 3 years before moving to Dallas (for my
second time). Confused yet? ha! Anyway, I
lived in north Austin, and I never went past
Barton Creek Mall. I didn't know much
about downtown or South Congress - I
stayed in my north Austin turf. Now, living
in south Austin (which I love), we get out
more, and I have seen some fun parts of
Austin that I didn't know about before. This
is a picture taken on SoCo - a fun trailer
that sells cupcakes!! I got a kick out of it!
and everything looks great! I had another
sonogram done, and the doctor kept going on
& on about how much hair the baby has - ha!
She tried to get a picture of the baby's face,
but he/she would not take its fist out of its
mouth - so stubborn. :) Now the kicks have
turned more into rolls and stretches.
40 Days To Go!!!
my vantage point - ha! It is so weird
not being able to see my toes anymore.
