6 Months Old!

Brock is 6 months

old today!

As we think back over Brock's first 6 months, we really can't imagine our lives without him. Each day we get to watch him grow and learn - it's fun seeing the world through his eyes. He gets so excited when he sees his sisters (our dogs), his stuffed race car, any type of bottle, his "friends" hanging from the mirror in the car, his favorite books, toys, etc. He enjoys getting a foot masage before bedtime, and he likes to walk around the house with me in the morning to open all of the blinds. He lights up and acts shy when he sees girls but sometimes cries when a guy says hi to him (except for daddy, of course). We are learning how to be Brock's parents - he likes things done a certain way, and he'll let us know if he's the least bit unhappy. Hmmm...Greg would probably say I'm writing about myself. ha! Every day is different, which makes being a stay at home mommy the most fun, yet challenging job in the world! So, what does a 6 month old do? Well, I'll let Brock explain...

Mommy took me to Gymboree to try out a free class. She is so cheap! It was fun, but I like my yoga class better.

I like the church nursery! Miss Lauren is nice, and I have made some new friends.

I used to cry in the car, but now I love riding around. My mommy is so happy that I don't scream any more!

I love to watch my Big Mama play the piano, and I'm not too bad myself. :)

Just chillin' in my bed...ahhh, this is the life!

I have fun playing with daddy. Everyone thinks I look just like him. He must be a good-looking guy!

I really like my toys! Mommy likes me to play hard, so I'll sleep well. She always has a big smile on her face when she's putting me to bed.

And as you all know, I love to eat!
